How to Remove Mould From Curtains
Have you ever wondered how to get mould off the white backing of thermal or colourfast curtains and blinds?
Do you have black mould growing on the back of your curtains or blinds?
What if you could simply spray a solution directly onto the mould, and it vanished? Good news.
Here’s a short LIVE video of the ‘Curtain Magic Mould Remover’ in action. You’ll see the mould vanish before your eyes!
This 4lt spray will kill and remove mould from the white backing of your thermal curtains (or colourfast curtains or colourfast blinds) without scrubbing.
You simply spray the product on and watch it vanish in front of your eyes. You don’t need to take off your curtains -- you can treat them while they are still hanging.
You will need to put a mat on the floor and cover any furnishings or areas near where you are spraying -- in order to prevent any stray spray getting onto unintended areas.
The product contains 1% bleach, whereas most household bleaches contain a much higher concentration of between 3-6% bleach. The curtain mold remover has a neutral pH, which is one of the reasons why it is so effective in making mould vanish.
The “Curtain Magic Mould Remover” can be used to kill mould from ceilings, walls and wallpaper, too.

Just a quick note to tell you how impressed I am with this product. I purchased it to try on my cream thermal curtains. The hems were black with mould due to having ranchslider doors open all day whatever the weather so kids could play on covered deck. Hence damp curtains then being enclosed in a dry home each night, ideal situation for mould to grow. I wish I had taken a photo of the before and after!! I did my first lot of double ranchslider curtains on Friday last week. Directly onto the cream curtain not just the thermal lining, and within minutes my curtains looked like I had just taken them from the packet and hung them!! WOW!! Thank You -- TM, Auckland

I tried it on my tiled shower grout while I waited for the frost to clear from the bedroom windows and couldn’t believe my eyes. But then the curtains – OH MY GOD!
Very easy to apply – didn’t take the curtains down and just put a narrow mat upside down under them till they dried. At $4 a square metre to have them dry-cleaned (and risk damage to them) you’ve saved me a heap!
I’ll be sure to let as many people know about it as I can. With many many thanks.

” It is amazing!!!!
Truly a wonderful product i just couldn’t believe how the mould just
disappeared in front of my eyes. You saved me hours of unproductive
scrubbing with chemicals that just didnt do a thing. I did the whole
house in the first morning and am now telling all my friends. I cant
wait to see what will happens this winter if the mould will return or
not but then i don’t really care because i will just squirt it again!
I cant understand why all curtain shops and fabric suppliers don’t
know about this product and have stacks of it there to sell??
Maybe I’m the only one that has mouldy curtains and condensation on my windows in winter??
Anyway if i had more time i would be an agent and sell it but what
with 2 little kids to run around after its not possible. Thanks anyway for your quick and friendly service and i will do my
best over the next couple of months to drum you up some more business. Thanks a lot Amanda Powell -- Auckland
“Curtain Magic Mould Remover has worked brilliantly on my embossed cream coloured drapes and separate linings without any discolouration or damage to either fabric. Each drape had a large amount of mould on the linings and drape hem caused by condensation from large window and ranchslider areas. There was over 25 metres of fabric to treat. The result was equally effective as a professional curtain cleaning company who charged $500 for their service.” L Hepworth -- Bucklands Beach, Auckland.
“I was pleased with the result, it totally removed the mould from 2 sets of curtains. I have recommended your product to a couple of friends”. Kind Regards, C Butson -- Auckland
Q. How do I apply the curtain mould remover to my curtains?
A. Please do a colour test on a small, hidden area of your curtains to make sure the curtains are not going to have any reaction. Once satisfied with the sample test, you can go ahead and spray the mould on the curtains, making sure you’ve covered any carpet or upholstery to protect them from any stray spray. You don’t need to hose down the curtains after the application.
Heavy curtains can also act as large sponges for damp air, so your method to remove the mould from the curtains is critical. The good news is there is a way to get mould on fabric also… simply use the same product.
That’s how to remove mould from curtains!
(Please note: A spot test must take place prior to using the product liberally on curtains).
